Picnic Panic is a five reel slot with three rows and up to twenty five paylines; the reels spin on a checked picnic blanket while one of the friendly ants waves from a position at the top of the screen.

Various ants constitute three of the theme-related symbols while others include the panicking picnicker, a picnic basket. a sandwich, some fruit, a piece of cake, a bag of crisps and a bottle of pop.

The ant with the sunglasses is the wild but it also acts as a trigger for one of the bonus features; the ant running off with a piece of cake is the trigger for the second feature.

The free spins are triggered by landing the wild ant on reels one and five; now each picnic basket, fruit, cake, bag of crisps and drink will reveal a number, the total of which is the number of spins you will now receive. Picnic Feature

This is triggered by landing three or more of the running ant (with cake) from left to right. Now you need to select three from the five items on display for an instant cash prize. This feature can be reached from the free spins round.

Verdict

We like the premise of this game and it’s fair to say that there aren’t many picnic-themed slots around. It’s a cheerful affair with two decent features and an RTP of 93.50%.
